iShares STOXX Europe 600 Personal & Household Goods UCITS ETF (DE)

iShares · DE000A0H08N1

iShares STOXX Europe 600 Personal & Household Goods UCITS ETF (DE) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from iShares, traded under the ticker SXQPEX (ISIN DE000A0H08N1). One trade buys a whole basket of holdings, so your money is spread out instead of riding on a single company. At its core it is a focused, thematic fund: it concentrates on the consumer staples part of the market, so it lives or dies by that one area rather than the economy as a whole. Underneath, it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't. It follows the STOXX Europe 600 index (passive investing): it tracks the market rather than relying on a manager, keeping running costs down, and its largest holdings include LVMH, UNILEVER PLC and BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO. With about 40 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 87.3%), your money is diversified rather than concentrated in a handful of names. Geographically it leans ~39.5% United Kingdom, ~34.7% France and ~13.7% Switzerland. By industry it concentrates most in ~49.6% Consumer Staples and ~49.3% Consumer Discretionary. A focused fund like this is typically held as a smaller 'satellite' position around a broader core — a way to lean into one theme, not usually a portfolio's only holding. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.46% a year — about €46 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. It is a distributing share class — dividends are paid to you as cash rather than reinvested, and over the last year it paid out roughly 2.590436% (its trailing yield). It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in Germany and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in EUR. Its price has swung about 17.2% over the past year — a gauge of how much the value moves, not a judgement of quality. It launched in 2002. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. (Fund data sourced from iShares.)
