What this fund is

Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight Swap UCITS ETF Acc is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Invesco, traded under the ticker SPWS (ISIN IE0000TZZ2B2). In a single purchase you get a diversified basket of holdings rather than a stake in just one business. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, spread across its target market. Rather than a manager picking stocks, it simply replicates the S&P 500 Equal Weight Net Total Return index — the passive, low-cost approach, and its largest holdings include AMAZON.COM INC, APPLE INC and JOHNSON & JOHNSON. With about 222 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 26.2%), your money is diversified rather than concentrated in a handful of names.

Its biggest country exposures are ~93.7% United States, ~2% Cayman Islands and ~1.3% Bermuda. By industry it concentrates most in ~22.9% Technology and ~17.3% Health Care. It is commonly used to tilt a portfolio towards one market, usually alongside broader, more global funds rather than on its own. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.2% a year — about €20 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. Income such as dividends is automatically reinvested inside the fund (an accumulating share class), so returns compound without you doing anything.

It tracks its index through a swap agreement rather than owning every holding (synthetic replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in USD. Its price has swung about 24.2% over the past year, which describes how much its price tends to move rather than whether it is good. It launched in 2025. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. (Fund data sourced from Invesco.)

How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
