What this fund is

Invesco Artificial Intelligence Enablers UCITS ETF Acc is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Invesco, traded under the ticker IVAI (ISIN IE000LGWDNE5). It lets you buy a basket of holdings in a single trade, spreading your money across them rather than one company. At its core it is a focused, thematic fund: it concentrates on the technology part of the market, so it lives or dies by that one area rather than the economy as a whole. Underneath, it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't. It passively tracks the S&P Kensho Global Artificial Intelligence Enablers Screened Index Net Total Return index — mirroring that market instead of paying a manager to pick winners, which keeps costs low, and its largest holdings include DELL TECHNOLOGIES -C NPV, RACKSPACE TECHNOLOGY INC USD 0.0100 and NETAPP INC USD0.001.

With about 47 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 29.1%), your money is diversified rather than concentrated in a handful of names. Its biggest country exposures are ~74.5% United States, ~6.3% Taiwan and ~5.4% China. Its heaviest sectors are ~81.3% Technology and ~4.9% Communication Services. A focused fund like this is typically held as a smaller 'satellite' position around a broader core — a way to lean into one theme, not usually a portfolio's only holding. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.35% a year — about €35 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund.

Income such as dividends is automatically reinvested inside the fund (an accumulating share class), so returns compound without you doing anything. It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in USD. Its price has swung about 36.4% over the past year — a gauge of how much the value moves, not a judgement of quality. It launched in 2024. Like any investment, it can lose value as well as gain, and what it did before does not predict what it will do next. (Fund data sourced from Invesco.)

How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
