What this fund is

State Street® SPDR® Russell 2000 U.S. Small Cap EUR Hdg UCITS ETF (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from SPDR, traded under the ticker R2EH (ISIN IE000WFBC0W4). It lets you buy a basket of holdings in a single trade, spreading your money across them rather than one company. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, spread across its target market. Rather than a manager picking stocks, it simply replicates the Russell 2000 Net of Tax 100% Hedged to EUR Index index — the passive, low-cost approach, and its largest holdings include Moog Inc. Class A, Cytokinetics Incorporated and BrightSpring Health Services Inc..

With about 1866 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 3.3%), your money is diversified rather than concentrated in a handful of names. Its biggest country exposures are ~92.2% United States, ~1.6% Canada and ~1.5% Bermuda. Its heaviest sectors are ~19.5% Health Care and ~17.6% Financials. It is commonly used to tilt a portfolio towards one market, usually alongside broader, more global funds rather than on its own. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.35% a year — about €35 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund; counting the trading costs inside the fund, the all-in figure is around 0.46%. It is an accumulating share class: dividends are rolled straight back in, compounding your returns rather than landing in your account as cash.

It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in USD. On the standard KID risk scale it is rated 5 out of 7, which describes how much its price tends to move rather than whether it is good. It launched in 2026, and its KID suggests a holding period of 5 years. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
