What this fund is

Invesco RAFI Europe Fundamental Value UCITS ETF Dist is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Invesco, traded under the ticker PSRE (ISIN IE00B23D8X81). In a single purchase you get a diversified basket of holdings rather than a stake in just one business. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, focused on the European market. It passively tracks the RAFI Fundamental Europe Index NTR index — mirroring that market instead of paying a manager to pick winners, which keeps costs low, and its largest holdings include SHELL PLC GBP 0.0700, TOTAL ENERGIES SE EUR2.5 and HSBC HOLDINGS PLC GBP 0.5000. Spread across roughly 365 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 20.8%), no one position makes or breaks the fund.

Geographically it leans ~25.1% United Kingdom, ~15.5% Germany and ~15.2% France. By industry it concentrates most in ~23.7% Financials and ~11.8% Industrials. Funds like this are commonly chosen by investors who want a regular cash income stream rather than reinvesting everything for growth. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.39% a year — about €39 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. Income such as dividends is paid out to you as cash (a distributing share class), and over the last year it paid out roughly 2.1% (its trailing yield).

It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in EUR. Its price has swung about 11.7% over the past year, which describes how much its price tends to move rather than whether it is good. It launched in 2007. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. (Fund data sourced from Invesco.)

How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
