Invesco STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Banks UCITS ETF Acc

Invesco · IE00B5MTWD60

Invesco STOXX Europe 600 Optimised Banks UCITS ETF Acc is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Invesco, traded under the ticker X7PS (ISIN IE00B5MTWD60). In a single purchase you get a diversified basket of holdings rather than a stake in just one business. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, focused on the European market. It follows the STOXX® Europe 600 Optimised Banks Total Return (Net) Index index (passive investing): it tracks the market rather than relying on a manager, keeping running costs down, and its largest holdings include CIE FINANCIERE RICHEMO-A REG, ASML HOLDING NV and ROCHE HOLDING AG. It holds around 122 positions (the ten largest ≈ 41%), spreading risk so no single holding decides your outcome. Geographically it leans ~33.8% United States, ~26.7% Switzerland and ~10.8% Netherlands. Its heaviest sectors are ~16.9% Technology and ~16.5% Industrials. Investors often use a broad fund like this as a long-term 'core' holding — a single building block that covers much of a global portfolio in one trade. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.2% a year — about €20 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. Income such as dividends is automatically reinvested inside the fund (an accumulating share class), so returns compound without you doing anything. It tracks its index through a swap agreement rather than owning every holding (synthetic replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in EUR. On the standard KID risk scale it is rated 5 out of 7 and its price has swung about 22.6% over the past year, which describes how much its price tends to move rather than whether it is good. It launched in 2009, and its KID suggests a holding period of 5 years. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. About this fund

The STOXX® Europe 600 Optimised Banks Total Return (Net) Index index is the benchmark this fund aims to copy. By holding it, this fund gives you a stake in around 122 companies across Europe in a single purchase.

The fund automatically reinvests dividends back into itself, so your holding grows without cash payouts. The fund uses a swap contract with a bank to mirror the index, instead of holding the shares directly.
