What this fund is

UBS MSCI USA Value UCITS ETF USD dis is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from UBS, traded under the ticker UC07 (ISIN IE00B78JSG98). It lets you buy a basket of holdings in a single trade, spreading your money across them rather than one company. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, spread across its target market. Rather than a manager picking stocks, it simply replicates the MSCI USA Value index — the passive, low-cost approach, and its largest holdings include MICROSOFT CORP, META PLATFORMS INC-CLASS A and MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC. Geographically it leans ~28.8% United States.

Its heaviest sectors are ~15.1% Technology and ~6.3% Financials. It is commonly used to tilt a portfolio towards one market, usually alongside broader, more global funds rather than on its own. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.2% a year — about €20 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. It is a distributing share class — dividends are paid to you as cash rather than reinvested, and over the last year it paid out roughly 1.13% (its trailing yield). It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in Ireland and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in USD.

Its price has swung about 23.9% over the past year — a gauge of how much the value moves, not a judgement of quality. It launched in 2012. Like any investment, it can lose value as well as gain, and what it did before does not predict what it will do next. (Fund data sourced from UBS.)

What your money could grow into

Pick a monthly amount and a number of years to see how regular investing can add up over time. These are your own assumptions — an illustration, not a prediction.

How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
