Amundi STOXX Europe 600 Insurance UCITS ETF Acc

Amundi · LU1834987973

Amundi STOXX Europe 600 Insurance UCITS ETF Acc is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Amundi, traded under the ticker 1693346D (ISIN LU1834987973). It lets you buy a basket of holdings in a single trade, spreading your money across them rather than one company. At its core it is a focused, thematic fund: it concentrates on the financials part of the market, so it lives or dies by that one area rather than the economy as a whole. Underneath, it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't. It follows the STOXX Europe 600 Insurance Net Return EUR index (passive investing): it tracks the market rather than relying on a manager, keeping running costs down, and its largest holdings include ALLIANZ SE-REG, ZURICH INSURANCE GROUP AG and AXA SA. Its biggest country exposures are ~31% Germany, ~24.2% Switzerland and ~13.9% United Kingdom. By industry it concentrates most in ~100% Financials. A focused fund like this is typically held as a smaller 'satellite' position around a broader core — a way to lean into one theme, not usually a portfolio's only holding. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.3% a year — about €30 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. Income such as dividends is automatically reinvested inside the fund (an accumulating share class), so returns compound without you doing anything. It tracks its index through a swap agreement rather than owning every holding (synthetic replication); it is domiciled in Luxembourg and UCITS-regulated, a European standard built to protect everyday investors and trades in EUR. On the standard KID risk scale it is rated 5 out of 7 and its price has swung about 14.8% over the past year — a gauge of how much the value moves, not a judgement of quality. It launched in 2024, and its KID suggests a holding period of 5 years. As with any investment, its value can go down as well as up, and past performance is not a guide to future results. About this fund

The STOXX Europe 600 Insurance Net Return EUR index is the benchmark this fund aims to copy. By holding it, this fund gives you a stake in around 10 companies across Europe in a single purchase.

The fund automatically reinvests dividends back into itself, so your holding grows without cash payouts. The fund uses a swap contract with a bank to mirror the index, instead of holding the shares directly.
