What this fund is

State Street® Bridgewater® All Weather® ETF is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) from SPDR, traded under the ticker ALLW (ISIN US78470P6300). It lets you buy a basket of holdings in a single trade, spreading your money across them rather than one company. In plain terms it is about owning small slices of companies, so you share in their growth when they do well — and their falls when they don't, spread broadly across markets worldwide. It follows the MSCI ACWI IMI index (passive investing): it tracks the market rather than relying on a manager, keeping running costs down, and its largest holdings include SSI US GOV MONEY MARKET CLASS, STATE STREET SPDR PORTFOLIO S+ and TREASURY BILL 08/26 0.00000.

Spread across roughly 43 holdings (the ten largest ≈ 81.6%), no one position makes or breaks the fund. Investors often use a broad fund like this as a long-term 'core' holding — a single building block that covers much of a global portfolio in one trade. Its ongoing charge (TER) is 0.85% a year — about €85 a year on a €10,000 holding, taken automatically from the fund. It holds the underlying investments directly (physical replication); it is domiciled in the United States and trades in USD.

Its price has swung about 12.2% over the past year — a gauge of how much the value moves, not a judgement of quality. It launched in 2025. Like any investment, it can lose value as well as gain, and what it did before does not predict what it will do next. (Fund data sourced from SPDR.)

What your money could grow into

Pick a monthly amount and a number of years to see how regular investing can add up over time. These are your own assumptions — an illustration, not a prediction.

How this works: an educational scenario, not a forecast. We compound monthly and add your monthly amount each month. “Expected annual return” is your own assumption — pick a cautious one; real markets are bumpy and can fall. “Adjust for inflation” simply restates the result in today’s spending power. The fee figure includes the yearly fund fee (TER) and the growth those fees would otherwise have earned. The fund comparison repeats each fund’s last-12-months return every year — a rough illustration only, which real funds never do. Not advice.
